My Story

Valeo specializes in providing affirming, identity-centered care to individuals navigating challenges related to gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and relationship dynamics. He is especially passionate about serving LGBTQIA+ clients in rural communities, offering a safe and inclusive space to explore identity, process life experiences, and build self-acceptance. Using a person-centered approach, Valeo works collaboratively with clients to identify goals and support their personal growth with empathy and respect.

In addition to supporting clients exploring identity and belonging, Valeo offers guidance around non-monogamous relationships, progressive disabilities, and experiences often stigmatized or misunderstood in traditional therapy settings. He brings deep knowledge and compassion to his work with marginalized populations, including those involved in sex work, Pagan spiritual practices, and body liberation movements. His goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients can show up authentically and feel seen, heard, and empowered.
